A me piace stare a tavola, mi piace perdermi in chiacchiere e nel buon cibo.

INGREDIENTI

  • 200 gr latte vegetale (avena o soia)
  • 160 gr farina tipo 1
  • 40 gr zucchero bianco
  • 1 cucchiaino lievito in polvere
  • 1 cucchiaino essenza di vaniglia
  • burro vegetale qb

VANILLA PANCAKES

Beyond the frenetic pace and the short time available we should all learn to give ourselves the right attention, at least once a day. I like being at the table, getting lost in chatter and good food. Well, perhaps at breakfast I’m not that eloquent, but these vanilla pancakes certainly know how to do it for me.

They smell amazing, fluffy and they’re ready in a short amount of time

Once they’re ready you can also freeze them. They are perfect with some maple syrup or enriched by fresh fruits.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 gr non diary milk (oat or soy)
  • 160 gr all purpose flour
  • 40 gr caster sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavor
  • vegan butter to taste

– Mix all the dry ingredients together.

– Add the liquids to the mixture, 2 tsp of melted vegan butter included. It must be smooth and without any lumps.

– Let it rest for about 5 minutes so that the yeast makes the mixture rise.

– Heat a non stick pan, brush it with some more melted vegan butter or margarine and pour two tablespoons of the batter in.

– As soon as you’ll see some bubbles on the surface, flip the pancakes with a spatula and finish cooking them on the other side.

Note: for a lighter taste, do not brush the pan with vegan butter while cooking the pancakes.
